The Client

The 'client' is deemed to be the instructing party, whether the home owner or the home owner's agent and will be liable for payment of the fee. When our energy report is carried out.


The Inspectors

Property Survey Group are qualified and licensed Energy Assessors and provide Energy Certificates for UK dwellings. They will be the 'inspectors' acting for the client.


Receipt of instructions

Instructions will be deemed to have been received from the client to the inspectors by telephone, email, fax, or post. Instructions will be acknowledged by the inspectors by email or post.


Fees

The fee will be in accordance with the confirmed order sent from Property Survey Group via e-mail.


Payment

  • Payment for the EPC is required on the day of order or prior of inspection date of your home.

  • Payment for trade clients must be received within seven working days from receipt of the invoice term agreed.
    14 or 30 day accounts are available upon request.

  • Payment methods are Paypal / card payment over the phone / cheque or cash by post prior to inspection.

Work carried out on behalf of Property Survey Group via a third party carries a 45 day payment term, regardless of the third party's own terms and conditions.


Cancellation

Once an order has been placed we will immediately begin work. Therefore if a refund is required there is a £24.95 cancellation fee.


Appointment Times

Although we endeavour to give you an idea of the hour in which we will turn up for an appointment, this can only be an estimate and is not guaranteed. Any appointment booked in the morning will take place between 8am and 12pm, and any afternoon appointment can be any time between 12pm and 6pm.


Missed Appointments

If our assessor arrives at your property for an appointment and you are not in, a second call out fee of £24.95 will be charged in order to reschedule the appointment. If you do not wish to reorganise a failed appointment and require a refund, a fee of £20 is applicable to cover the call out of the failed appointment.


Scope of the survey

The scope of the survey will be that laid out by the legislation current at the time of the inspection and will be set out on page four of the Certificate. An example report can be seen at www.propertysurveygroup.co.uk  The Certificate will be automatically lodged by the Inspector on the Government certified database which will be available for inspection by the client and a PDF copy will be sent directly to your e-mail.


Prices

The price of our products vary dependant on your postcode area. Cheapest quoted prices are for holiday lets or multiple bookings of ten or over. If a hard copy survey is required, this can be fulfilled at the additional cost of £10 plus VAT to cover printing, postage and packaging.
